How can you start making profits out of your website using Adsense?

1. Sign up for an Adsense account. It will only take a few minutes of your time.

a. Go to http://www.google.com/adsense

b. Click on the Click Here to Apply button

c. Enter in the correct information

d. Click the Submit Information button

e. You will then be directed to check your email to verify your account

f. Now you will need to wait for them to activate your account. (This can

take a few days, so be patient.)

2. Once your site is accepted, you will be able to log in to your account and begin generating your clip code to include in your web pages. You can insert this code on as many pages or web sites that you want. The AdWords will start appearing immediately after.

Once you got your account working, you will want to create channels if you are going to have your adsense on more than one website.

A channel is used to track individual websites so that you know where your traffic is coming from and what sites are making the most money or getting the most traffic.

How to create a new channel:

1. Log in to your account, http://www.google.com/adsense

2. Click on the Adsense Setup tab

3. Then click on the Channels link

4. Scroll down to the Manage Custom Channels section

5. Enter in the channel name, I use the domain name

6. Click Create New Channel button

7. Now click on the Continue to Ad Layout link

You will be taken to a page that you can create the way that your ads are displayed for this specific channel.

There are many different options, but the most important thing you should know is that you want your ads to blend in with the color scheme of your site. You want them to look as if they are your links.

I would not depend only on Google’s tracking system there are other programs out there that will track your impressions and clicks. I highly suggest looking into some of these scripts and using them.
